A mini-orchestra of lushness and mystery, Edison Woods is the music project of Julia Frodahl. Edison Woods has haunted stages from New York to Madrid since 2001 and involves frequent collaborations with artists across a range of genres, including Maxim Moston, Mark Van Hoen, Simon Raymonde, Mimmo Paladino, Katie Workum, and Joey McKneely. The music of Edison Woods has been described by Rolling Stone as “truly beautiful, slowly meandering soundscapes”, and by Spain’s Rockdelux Magazine as “a masterwork of music out of time, wonderfully compassionate, and inspirationally capable of revitalizing not only the love for music but also for life”.
